A solicitors firm based near Kettering in Northamptonshire have an opening for a commercial property lawyer on a full time, permanent basis. The firm are looking for candidates with at least 3 years experience to join their established property department. Working with the Head of Commercial Conveyancing, the type of work, whilst it excludes residential conveyancing, is extremely varied, from commercial shop leases, through wind turbine and solar farm agreements to large scale option and promotion agreements for residential developments. Client base ranges from local to international and owner-managed business to FTSE 250 companies. The successful candidate will work within a team of five in a pleasant working environment. Solicitors Firm based in Northamptonshire (good transport links) need a locum property lawyer to cover maternity leave from late July/early August. Ideally looking for someone to cover for 4-5 days a week but will also consider less. The firm have a mixed bag of commercial property including agricultural work, although the amount of agricultural matters can be adjusted because they have another commercial/agricultural fee earner in the department and potentially they could take over that work in part or whole. The current work load includes the usual leases, purchase and sale work but also option agreements and there are a fair few wind farm developer type clients.
