Crime Lawyer - Central London

A Central London firm are looking for an experienced criminal law paralegal (or non qualified lawyer) to assist in running files/cases at their offices near Victoria Embankment. The firm do not carry out Duty work, most cases are substantial and involve serious crime (fraud/money laundering/drugs/homicide etc). Candidates should be able to quickly assimilate the facts of large cases and produce a case summary for the partners; take client's proof and comments; take defence witness statements; instruct experts; attend conferences with counsel and generally liaise with counsel regarding case prep; be prepared to work the necessary hours to accommodate visits to clients on remand in prisons outside London; deal competently with POCA proceedings and draft the necessary client statements.
