Crime Solicitor jobs in Central London £50-70,000 per annum
We have been instructed on two new crime vacancies
which have arisen with a large central London Legal 500 solicitors firm.
Deadline on applying for these posts is the start of January. The work is all
privately funded.
The first is for a specialist financial crime solicitor and the second is for a general crime solicitor. Both are set at 3 years PQE and upwards. Salary levels are usually around £50-75k with this firm, dependent on experience.
Post 1 General Crime Solicitor
Hours: 9.30 am to 5.30 pm, and as required
Working week: Monday to Friday
Department: Criminal Litigation
Specific duties: To work, as part of a team, advising the firm’s clients on criminal law matters to include:
Serious fraud and business crime
Bribery and Corruption
General crime and police station advice
Financial regulatory and criminal investigations
Restraint and confiscation
Extradition
International mutual assistance
Sanctions
Post 2 Financial Crime Solicitor
Hours: 9.30 am to 5.30 pm, and as required
Working week: Monday to Friday
Department: Criminal Litigation
Specific duties: To work, as part of a team, advising the firm’s clients on matters to include:
Financial regulatory and criminal investigations including fitness to practice, market abuse, insider dealing and fraud.
Dealing with The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) and HMRC and other financial services regulatory bodies
Representing individuals and SMEs in relation to regulatory investigations and criminal proceedings
