Conveyancing Paralegal in Central London
A new vacancy has arisen with a solicitors firm based close to the
Limehouse station on the Docklands Light Railway in E1. Looking for a
conveyancing paralegal to join them on a permanent basis. VAC 15170.
The firm are very busy and need extra pairs of hands to assist - residential conveyancing.
You will need to have at least 12 months conveyancing experience in a solicitors firm to be considered for this post. If you have used CMS to date it would be useful to state which package you have worked on.
If this sounds of interest, please let me know by email. The next step will be for us to get a CV through to the senior partner, together with any further details.
Notice period and current salary levels if relevant would be useful at this stage.
If you decide to apply for any of our conveyancing posts please consider the following:
A CV is very helpful - a CV with lots of detail on about your exact conveyancing experience is even more helpful.
CVs tend to get noticed by employers when they have a full breakdown of your experience to date.
Details of number of files worked on.
Specific information regarding shared ownership, staircasing, leasehold enfranchisement, specific types of client - eg investors, developers etc..
Billing levels for the past few years are always useful
Details of case management systems used
Confirmation of ability with IT and whether you require secretarial assistance always helpful to know.
Current salary levels
Current notice period
Proposed salary levels if different to the above
Details of any clients who will come with you to a new firm.
Explanation for any gaps on the CV - whilst it is usually obvious that there was no work between 2008 and 2011, employers have very short memories. Explain this.
Send a CV to cv@ten-percent.co.uk. Don't forget to include your contact information. We will log you as well for any future vacancies - this simply involves receiving automated emails off us, and nothing else. Many thanks! Jonathan Fagan, MD of Ten-Percent Legal Recruitment.
