A new vacancy has arisen with a medium sized Legal 500 solicitors firm based in London SE1. Looking for a new practice manager to replace a longstanding incumbent.

The current practice manager does the following:
All areas of legal administration including accounts, marketing, Human Resources and I.T. She heads the accounts/administration team. organises and supervises all of the administrative activities to ensure that the office runs smoothly and operates as the key point of contact across all departments of the firm.

The firm undertake some high profile celebrity work and have a large legally aided caseload as well as private - so a background in some LAA funded work is going to be very useful indeed.
Salary range is £50,000 to £60,000. The firm want someone longer term. The practice manager is involved in business development and attends partners meetings on that basis - probably fair to describe quite a bit of their role as that of a chief executive.
