A well-established firm is looking for an employment law solicitor to work at their Bedford office. The successful candidate will be managing a caseload of employment law work. Applicants should have:
·A minimum of 3 years' PQE in employment law work.
·Experience representing both employees and employers in contentious and non-contentious matters.
·A working knowledge of the law on restrictive covenants, unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, whistle blowing and TUPE.
·Experience preparing contracts of employment and staff handbooks.
·Experience advising on settlement agreements.
·Prepared ET1, ET3, particulars of claim and grounds of resistance.
·Appeared at the Employment Tribunal, at least on preliminary matters.
The post is full-time, permanent and salary levels will be 45k to 50k.
