Reputable Central London law firm are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Litigation Solicitor to head up and run their well-established and busy litigation department. This is a full-time, permanent role with potential for hybrid working. The firm are looking for a candidate with solid litigation experience, excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in handling complex commercial disputes.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and manage the Commercial Litigation department, overseeing a team of solicitors, paralegals and support staff
·Handle a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, corporate disputes, business disputes, various injunctions and insolvency-related litigation
·Provide strategic advice to clients, ensuring their interests are effectively represented
·Mentor and develop junior members of the team, providing support and guidance to enhance their professional growth
·Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards within the department
·Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business
·Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and generate new business for the firm
 
Required Skills and Qualifications:
·A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE in commercial litigation
·Proven experience in managing complex commercial litigation cases with excellent knowledge of diverse laws and relevant procedures
·Demonstrable leadership and management experience
·Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships
·Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
·Ability to work under pressure, manage a high-volume caseload, and meet deadlines
·A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical and decision-making skills
·A commitment to providing high-quality legal services and upholding the firm's reputation
