A specialist litigation law firm based in the Bromley area, are looking for an experienced litigator to be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of cases suitable for litigation through to settlement or final hearing. This is a permanent, full-time role with the ability for hybrid working following successful completion of a probationary period.
 
Role involves:
·Manage a mixed caseload including but not limited to liability disputes, repair, credit hire  small claims cases
·Effective management of the litigation process to ensure SLA's are met
·Work a task list effectively
·Negotiation of quantum & assessing liability
·Drafting Court documents
·Liaise with client's regarding uninsured losses and to obtain relevant case information in a competent manner
·Adhering to all court deadlines
·Take and Draft comprehensive statements
·Book and instruct Counsel to attend trial
·Allocate settlement funds
·Delivering quality work
 
 
Qualifications/Experience:
·At least 2 years case/file handler experience within either the legal or insurance industries
·Full knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules relating to RTA/Motor Insurance claims
·Ability to handle a caseload with minimal supervision
·High level of motivation and able to take own initiative
·Excellent oral and written communication skills
·Ability to work within a team
·Calm under pressure, organised, efficient with ability to multi-task and prioritise
·Credit hire experience desirable but not essential
