Commercial Property Solicitor in Birmingham to £70 per hour
An experienced Commercial & Development Property Solicitor is sought after to join a leading law firm in Birmingham. The firm seek both a locum to cover until a permanent candidate is recruited, and a permanent candidate. The permanent candidate is expected to be about 1-5 years PQE but could be higher. The locum appointment is not set so completely open. Hourly rate indicated for locum as anything up to around £70 per hour. Excellent academics and firm background essential for both posts.
You will be expected to advise investors, property developers and corporate bodies on high profile and high value property development projects across a range of sectors as well as dealing with portfolio management, real estate acquisitions and disposals. Your responsibilities will include taking instructions from clients, liaising with clients, drafting and negotiating leases, advising on initial site acquisition and also the development and construction of sites. You will be well versed in all aspects of commercial and development property work along with some commercial property matters. You will have strong organisational and management skills coupled with the capability to investigate titles and draft reports on title. With development experience you will be able to liaise with a variety clients across a broad range of sectors.
