Legal Cashier in Central London
A new permanent legal cashier/accounts manager
vacancy has arisen with a solicitors firm based in central London - Piccadilly
W1J. The firm handles international and national litigation, private client and
property services. Small-medium sized practice concentrating on the HNW market.
Accountant
Person Requirements
Familiar with Solicitors' Accounts Rules.
Experience in drafting partnership accounts and limited company statutory accounts.
Good management accounting and budgeting experience.
Knowledge of SAGE payroll an advantage.
Able to liaise with firm's auditors and HMRC as required.
Able to provide support for partners on tax matters, and if necessary liaise with firm's tax advisors.
Duties
Drafting year end partnership accounts and supporting schedules for auditors.
Drafting year end limited company accounts and supporting schedules for auditors.
Quarterly VAT returns for partnership and limited company.
Attendance at monthly partners' meetings, and preparing monthly reports.
Writing up minutes for signature at following meeting.
Preparing year budgets for partnership and limited company.
Prepare year end fee and profit forecast in Jan - Feb for partnership year end 31 March.
Check and sign off all bank reconciliations for both the Partnership and Limited Company.
Monitor debt collection and cash flow for both partnership and limited company.
