Adult Social Care Solicitor, Sunderland

A Sunderland based firm specialising in Care of the Elderly are looking to take on a solicitor on a part time basis to work initially 2 days per week. This is a permanent role. The firm are looking for solicitors with experience in Care of the Elderly and Adult Social Care matters. The role will involve advising clients on: " Hospital discharge and adult social care in the elderly " Knowledge of the Care Act and National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare funding " State funding for care NHS Continuing Healthcare funding and s117 aftercare " Process of applying for NHS CHC funding and appealing ineligibility decisions Knowledge of wills & probate and LPA would also be beneficial.
