Wills
and Probate Paralegal with possibility of a training contract in
future (not confirmed..). Small to medium sized practice in Andover
with a small private client department. The firm are looking for an
LPC graduate with some experience in practice of wills & probate
or alternatively a legal assistant or secretary coming from a
background in wills & probate. The firm are looking for an
individual with the ability to assist fee earners with a high volume
and varied workload, capable of using their own initiative and with
excellent time management skills. It is likely that the role will
include providing secretarial support to the fee earners including
audio typing and using a digital dictation system. You will need to
know how to use a case management system, assist with the drafting of
legal documents and proof reading/checking of documentation and
support the department in marketing activities. There will also be
general team administration including photocopying, faxing, filing
and scanning. You must be able to type accurately and quickly,
ideally using digital audio systems. This is a Lexcel accredited
firm. Salary levels £18,000-£20,000 per annum depending on
experience; 20 days annual leave, rising to 25 days, plus Bank
Holidays.
