A new vacancy has arisen with a company in Leamington Spa looking for assistance as follows:
Duration: 6-12 months
Start date: asap
Hours: Full time, although part time will be considered
Location: office based initially
Job Title: Litigation Solicitor
Department: Litigation
Responsible to: Senior Management / Partners
Responsible for: Processing litigation matters
Main Duties:
o To advise and act in matters across the spectrum of general civil litigation matters including debt, insolvency, contested wills and probate, employment, company and partnership, property disputes and trusts litigation.
o To make effective use of case management systems and ensure efficient use of time and resources.
o To contribute to the development and improvement of business systems and processes.
Key Tasks:
1 Technical
o Provide a full range of civil litigation services, including advice, drafting and advocacy
o Maintain own knowledge and understanding of law and practice
2 IT & Systems
To make effective use of the: -
o Case Management and customer communication systems
o Microsoft & email systems
o Advanced systems including electronic signatures and AML processes
o Internet and Intranet
