Vibrant and expanding law firm have an opening for a full time, permanent Litigation Handler within their Orpington office. The firm are looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual to work closely with a large motor insurer.

You will be responsible for running your own caseload whilst working on a busy and vivacious team. You will receive new claims from their insurer client which relate to road traffic accidents with the aim of recovering the insurers money back from the at fault party through Litigation. You will run cases from the outset, draft proceedings and run the matter through the entire litigation process to trial.

To be successful in recovering this money you will be required to investigate the claim thoroughly and obtain all relevant evidence, including detailed witness statements and documentation in support of financial losses by liaising closely with the insurer client, the policyholder, brokers, Barristers, Court and Defendant Solicitors.

You will need to adhere to strict court timetables and require experience in dealing with these type of claims through the litigation process.
