Crime Solicitor, Falklands Islands
A crime solicitor is sought for a 2 year contract in the Falkland Islands situated off the coast of South America. Candidates of 3 years qualified and upwards preferred but lower PQE considered will be considered depending on candidates prior experience. Police Station Accreditation is a requisite but as there is no Duty Solicitor Scheme over there, Duty Solicitor accreditation is not necessary and Higher Rights are also not required. Candidates should be comfortable before the equivalent of the Crown Court with a desire to do more advocacy at this level. Strong Legal Research skills, IT skills and strong client care skills are needed as is a willingness to assist in other areas such as immigration, licensing and admiralty (although no previous experience required).
