South Wales solicitors firm with offices in Aberdare (station 150 metres) and Blackwood (you can be based at either office) seek a residential conveyancing lawyer to join them on a permanent basis. The role can be part time for someone senior or full time for someone junior. Hours can be flexible to suit. This is a small to medium sized firm and well established in the area. The role is for someone "with a passion for representing victims of domestic violence" and the appointee will be nominal head of Emergency Proceedings Department with a dedicated paralegal and Lead Advocate. Salary range makes this role suitable for someone at a 0-3 years PQE range. The hours will be 8.45 - 5.15, and this is a permanent, full time post.

Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Fee Earner sought to join a small friendly practice in Buckingham. The firm has a busy conveyancing department and they are looking for someone to join the team. The post would suit a newly qualified solicitor wanting to establish themselves with a firm but similarly the firm will look at a legal executive or even a paralegal or secretary who has experience on particular aspects of the conveyancing transaction but in need of supervision. Quality City of London law firm have an opening for a full time, permanent conveyancing assistant to undertake the procedural aspects to residential conveyancing, in particular the initial file opening procedures and the later stages from the point of exchange of contracts to completion and beyond. Not much typing envisaged but you will need to prepare letters and faxes typed by firm, and also standard letters such as client care, etc. in order for firm to practice electronically where possible. You will also be expected to undertake the scanning and uploading of documents. A full job description is available. Salary up to £25K per annum depending on experience.
