- Welcome to my blog - I am a solicitor (of the non-practising variety these days) and Managing Director of www.ten-percent.co.uk, legal recruitment consultants on the web. Some years ago, I studied law at Leicester University and Frankfurt University as well as De Montfort University and the University of Northumbria, and trained with a small high street practice in Leicester. On qualification I worked for a Chambers listed firm in Nottingham, before taking a full time role in Ten-Percent as a recruitment consultant. I have personally assisted many solicitors, barristers, trainee solicitors, paralegals and law students with their CV, interviews, relocation and careers advice. I have recruited solicitors for firms across the UK & overseas, lectured on legal careers, and prepared CVs for a range of people in the profession, from senior partners to law students. This blog contains our regular articles on legal recruitment as well as our monthly legal job market updates.
