Location: London
Salary: £35,000 to £50,000 per annum
The Role:
Joining a small team, this role will involve handling a broad range of Defendant civil litigation work. Part of your role will also be to expand and develop this caseload through Business Development activities such as marketing and networking. You will gain exposure to the full spectrum of Civil Litigation work, covering files such as Property Litigation, Boundary disputes and professional negligence.
The Candidate:
This role would suit someone with a depth of experience in a variety of Civil Litigated files, who is looking to broaden their experience by taking on some additional responsibility such as Business Development. You will have proven track record in managing volume (ideally defendant focused) litigation at the County Court, as well as the ability to independently take cases through to appeal and High Court level. You will have the confidence and enthusiasm to pursue test cases and supervise/ assist junior members of staff along the process. In return, you will have exposure to leading clients within the aviation and retail industries and opportunities for professional development. Ideally candidates will have five to ten years PQE or upwards, but the firm are open minded and candidates that fall outside of this bracket will be considered.
