Do you fancy a complete change of scene?

A vacancy has arisen for a senior legal adviser to provide legal and procedural advice to the Court and Tribunal Service of a British overseas territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of the Courts and Tribunal Service and provide support to the Judiciary, Magistrates and Justices of the Peace to enable them to carry out their functions. Candidates will also be expected to act as Registrar to the Supreme Court, and Clerk to the Magistrate's Court, the Coroner's Court and the Summary Court and to various Tribunals, Committees and Boards.

To be eligible, candidates should have at least 5 years PQE as either a Solicitor or Barrister and a high level of experience as a Legal Advisor, Court Clerk or Registrar within the Courts Service or equivalent within the UK or Commonwealth.

This is a full time role working on a contractual basis with a 2 to 4 year placement depending on the candidate and a competitive package on offer. Comprehensive job description available on request.
