A new permanent vacancy x 2 has arisen with a solicitors firm based in central Newport close to the train station or on a business park near to Chepstow close to junction 2 of the M48. They are looking for a corporate commercial lawyer and a commercial property lawyer - someone able to do both would be ideal for them. Remote working is not an issue for the firm at all - provided you are able to travel into their offices when required, particularly at the outset. At the moment the firm have a bit of work coming in for both areas but think there is considerable scope to build on this. They are keen to recruit someone interested in running the new department(s) at some point in the future. It may suit someone interested in a part time consultancy basis, working when they have the matters to be dealt with but not working if nothing coming in. In this type of scenario an hourly rate is probably the better option. The firm presently deals with mainly with high street work - family, conveyancing and private client. Small to medium sized with c5-10 solicitors.
