UK based technology company seek a part time remote working Legal Counsel to assist with all legal work and compliance matters that come their way. They are looking to appoint an energetic and entrepreneurial lawyer who would also work as the CEO's Executive Assistant. You need to have a passion for technology (an ideal applicant would have some coding experience in a previous role or be self taught but not essential). You have to be familiar with software including Teams, Excel and Power BI.

You need to be very analytical and data driven in the way you manage your time. You would report directly to the CEO but you will be assisted by experienced lawyers already at the company as well as external counsel. Your role will be to be responsible for the delivery of all legal work and to make decisions on the most cost effective way to achieve a desired outcome. The company is about to embark on a growth through M&A strategy so experience and/or passion for M&A has to be a requisite.

This is a general in house role so there will be exposure to everything coming into the group including corporate finance transactions. This is a part time role to start and you can work remotely. It could lead to full time or a job share going forwards.
