A law firm in Barnsley are looking for a child care locum to assist starting from June 2023 for a period of 6-9 months. Caseload is children public law work only, both Legal Aid and privately funded. The role involves representation of adults involved in childcare proceedings. You will need to be confident with information technology and have experience of dealing with the Legal Aid Agency CCMS and Court Portal systems. Familiarity with the Caselines Bundle Management would also be advantageous.
The role would suit an organised professional who is confident in dealing with clients of all backgrounds and the ability to present their case in courts, across South Yorkshire and beyond. The position is largely office and court based with limited opportunity for flexible working.
