In House Counsel Role - remote working
A property investment company in Manchester, London and Birmingham are looking for an in house lawyer to join them. They have investments in the care home sector and a lot of the work evolves from this.
The company has external solicitors who handle the majority of their work, but they are in need of a general counsel to join on an interim basis to act in the usual way of coordinating work and filtering. Involves a mix of everything by the sounds of it - dealing with commercial contracts, reviewing commercial leases (although no actual property work involved), coordinating non-contentious and contentious employment work (all referred to 3rd party solicitors). Paralegal support on site. Fully remote with occasional trips to offices - they are located in the three cities above. Can work full or part time from one of their offices as well if wanted.
Duration - ongoing starting asap. Their current GC is not very well and away long term apparently.
Happy to consider 3-5 days a week - flexible as to hours.
