A North East law firm is looking for a solicitor to head their conveyancing department. The firm would welcome applications from solicitors with a minimum of 4 years' PQE in residential conveyancing work. The successful applicant can work out of the firm's Darlington office or Newcastle office as preferred. The firm is very flexible in terms of home working so the successful candidate will be able to work a minimum of 3 days per week from home, if preferred. Any additional commercial conveyancing experience would be an advantage but is not essential.  The firm would ideally like someone on a fully employed, salaried basis but also happy to consider someone on a consultancy basis.
The role will be full-time, permanent and salary around the 50k level but higher for someone with commercial conveyancing experience.
