A law firm in Cannock are looking for a family locum to assist with appraising some files and possibly assisting with finishing them off if required. You will need to go through approximately a dozen files to assess what stage they are at and put together a summary so that the firm can decide what needs to be done next. There may also be some additional work to be carried out on the files if the caseload cannot be managed in house. This is likely to be an initial couple of days of work and you will need to be based at the firm's offices in Cannock for this as remote/hybrid working is not feasible.
