Senior Practice Accountant sought by an accountants practice based in Hertfordshire, close to London Stansted Airport,with easy access to the M11. Ideally suited towards an ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience (QBE) Senior Accountant who is looking to join a firm of accountants in a client facing and autonomous role where they have the support of the directors combined with the flexibility to truly make the role their own. With a general practice background, the Senior Accountant will report into the directors and undertake a wide range of general accounting duties including:
Accounts preparation for Limited Companies, Sole traders and Partnerships
Tax computations (personal and corporate)
Assisting in the management of workflow through the office
Meeting prospective clients
Completion of VAT returns
Attending client meetings
Assisting more junior staff Reviewing the work of junior staff
Getting invlolved in the management of the practice
