A new vacancy has arisen with a Legal 100 solicitors firm in central London - looking for a lawyer to join them.

"We are looking for a locum/contractor - for a 6 month period. To cover the extensive work load in our professional standards and risk team. We need someone to essentially review all of our internal contracts, deal with supplier issues, tender questionnaires, general risk advice, advice on legal issues and lots of other ad hoc miscellaneous tasks.
There is a lot going on in the team work wise, the senior manager is on leave and due to return in 6 weeks, on top of the general day to day work, we have audits coming up and we are dealing with the Russian sanctions that have been imposed. We need someone that will be able to take some of the work off the Director in the team."

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months full time.

Full time preferable but 80-90% time will work for the firm.

Remote working fine - "we are hybrid, at the moment we do 1 set day in the office. For a good candidate they may be able to be entirely remote, but we would need them to come in a few days at the start just to get to grips with things."

Hourly rate: ideally the firm are looking to do this on a fixed term contract for 6 months at a rate of up to 80K. However they are open to suggestions.
