Law firm based on the Falklands Islands have an opening for a general practice solicitor for a contract lasting at least 12 months and potentially longer depending on the candidate. The caseload will develop around the individual candidates experience but is likely to be mainly private family law with the occasional care case and some civil litigation plus general wills & probate. However, any area of work is potentially possible given the location. Caseloads are not big nor fast paced but they are varied. There is limited admin support so candidates should expect to do most of their own admin work. The firm are flexible on hours and anticipate plenty of time off to enjoy sightseeing and life on the Islands.
