A busy high street practice in Chelmsford are looking for a family law locum to help out from 29th September to 14th October 2022. You should have experience dealing with financial and children matters. The fee earner you will be covering for has 6 cases in court during her absence and needs someone to deal with the admin relating to those cases, seeking instructions from clients and liaising with the barristers who have been instructed in the cases. You do not need to attend court and you will be assisted by a secretary who is very efficient but not legally-trained and therefore unable to deal with legal matters. Remote working is fine and you will not be required to work every day during the period, just the days of the hearings.
