Litigation locum sought by pracitce based in Wembley Park - looking for someone able to act for customers against lenders under CCA. Not PPI mis-selling work - mainly small claims and fast track claims. Caseload of circa 300 active matters: Reviewing merits of claims, considering defences, litigation case management, drafting witness statements, drafting lists of documents, preparing cases for and taking cases to trial; advising clients and negotiation of settlements throughout. NB: quality opposition being, in the main, high street and secondary lenders represented by national firms like Eversheds, TLT, Simmons & Simmons. Firm think it would be suitable for someone used to dealing with bulk litigation work of any variety.
