A newly set up specialist personal injuiy firm is looking for a lawyer to work at their West Bromich office. Ideally the firm is looking for a legal executive or qualified solicitor who can manage a caseload without supervision.
The main function will be to contribute to the overall success of the Personal Injury team by providing legal services to clients and support to other fee earners:
Liaising with clients in a professional, courteous manner often dealing with difficult matters e.g. bereavement, disability to progress their case
Provide support to fee earners and be an integral member of the team
Maintain client confidentiality and handle information in a professional manner
On a daily basis, you will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload of primarily litigated employer liability and public liability matters on behalf of key insurer clients.
You will need to represent the client in the Court if required.
it would be highly desirable if the successful candidate had court litigation experience, including an understanding of Court of Session
to work on a varied and high-quality caseload (both pre-litigation and litigated files), where you will be managing your own caseload
Manage a team of up to three people.

The role will be full-time, permanent and salary levels will be up to 28k.
