A well established Cheshire firm needs a senior wills & probate solicitor to work a locum assignment at their Stockport office. Due to some very sad circumstances their head of wills & probate has had to take some extended leave at very short notice. They are therefore looking for someone with managerial experience and very significant experience in inheritance tax matters to fill in for him. They have other wills & probate solicitors in the department so despite being a locum role this really is for someone who can go in and manage the department and handle as well as inheritance tax matters. The assignment will commence ASAP and will last for a minimum of 1 month although they have said they think it is very likely that it will run for significantly longer. Also a genuine chance that this role could become permanent if desired depending on how things work out with the current incumbent.
