In House Litigation Paralegal in Milton Keynes
New vacancy has arisen with a Milton Keynes company looking for a
paralegal to assist in defending small claims and fast track matters.
This is a finance company - debt purchase and recoveries - and you will
be working in house.
Start date is asap.
In order to apply you will need to have experience of CPR (civil procedure rules) and ideally from the defendant angle. Salary levels negotiable and dependent on level of experience as follows:
1. Legal Administrative Support which will attract a salary of around £16,500 - and will involve dealing with case management systems and photocopying scanning etc.
2. Litigation Assistant salary is around £25k depending on experience - this is for someone who is familiar with county court case management - so witness statements, particulars of claim, defences and counterclaims etc. entirely for defended claims in SCT or fast tack.
There is some flexibility with these roles in terms of experience, knowledge etc.
The company are also looking for temporary staff to cover the litigation role until they can recruit someone permanent.
